Subject line: Terrible time
“Hey Heather-
I’m not sure if you remember me, I was the Relationship Manager (senior sales associate at a Financial Center in Oregon) for a few years. I worked at BOA for 8 before leaving for another institution. I just wanted to say how proud I am of you for standing up. (A different Market Leader) was my (Market Leader) at the time. I was excited to have (this Market Leader) until the pressure started to come down on us. I remember there would be times I didn’t want to go to work because I knew my branch the best and I knew (we were) in a slow time and opening up my email or seeing (the Market Leader’s) name pop up on my caller ID that’s when I would get super nervous.
One of my old colleagues told me they thought about crashing their car on their way into work so they wouldn’t have to face the sales pressure. It’s insane.
I just remember being so stressed out and taking it out on my family when they had nothing to do with it. Now I’m much more happier. But I am super proud of you though Heather!!”
